Work's been insanely hectic and it felt like it's harder to pass as the week goes by. I'm not enjoying my work either. I guess it has always been this way just that with a fun bunch of colleagues around, i could just close an eye to it. But what happens when work sucks and those fun bunch of people are no longer there? To make matter worst, you have a boss who likes to bad-mouth about your colleagues to you. (somebody please kill me!) The negative energy has been building and there's no way it's going to stop.

Last thursday was an epic scenario! I had lunch with my studio manager and i was whining to him about how sucky the week has been and the workload as well. Then he came up with this hokkien phrase "lun ze lun ze"(忍着忍着). So we went back to the office and i tried my best to do my work despite the fatigueness. Half way through during dinner, the boss had to talk about work and he assigned some work for my studio manager to do. Somehow i could sense that my studio manager wasn't happy because he's been dying to go home early. When we finally completed our work, my studio manager was super pissed and i had to walk pass him and tell him the same words he said to me. A smile was seen across his face but still he was unhappy within.

I must say it's been the toughest i've ever been through. Bad things didn't come in single. They came in pairs or in a bunch. Beside struggling with work, i was struggling with family issues too. Grandma was hospitalised because she had a stroke attack and grandpa was unreasonable to a certain extent. I was told to pack my room because a maid is going to be hired to take care of grandma. So i set aside some time that weekend to pack my room. Wanted to do so on a saturday evening but i decided to take a nap first. Eventually i slept through and only woke up on sunday morning instead. Started packing till evening and decided to continue the following weekend instead. But something horrible happened during the week. The old man threw half of my stuff into the living room. (Like seriously! He wasted half of my effort that weekend of packing!) How is it like to come back at 2am in the morning and see a mess of your belongings greeting you in the living room? I was furious and upset. Being physically drained isn't enough, somebody had to make you mentally drained as well. I was so close to confronting him in the morning but i figured that i would lose out because he could say," This is my house and if you're not happy, please get out!" With that in mind, i kept quiet and left the mess there for a couple of days and got busy with work.

It got me thinking about moving out of the house instead. At least, there isn't anyone or anything to bother me at all. But it's tough because i wasn't financially stable yet and if i rent a room, i need privacy and personal space. Such accomadation would cost me 1k and if i'm thinking of switching jobs, paying rent at such a price would become a burden to me. I felt so stuck with such a situation right now and i stop entertaining the thought of moving out just yet. Probably at the next incident, i might just make a decision to move out.

I'm still holding on to the dream of working in an mnc. The initial plan is to do internship and attend a portfolio class but i can't do so if i'm experiencing a financial crisis. So i intend to save up. The only thing that my current job could offer me is money but when the workload gets too unbearable, i'm afraid i have to say goodbye to the saving plan and find a decent job for survival first. Just in case i have the impulse of moving out. Sigh i'm just taking things one step at a time. For now it's about getting a new job because i need rest and the current working hours is insane. My body might not be able to take it.
